ACSR (Aluminum Conductor Steel Reinforced) Cable is an overhead electrical power transmission cable designed for long-span aerial installations. It consists of a central core of galvanized steel wires surrounded by layers of high-purity aluminum wires. This combination leverages the high tensile strength of steel and the excellent conductivity and lightweight properties of aluminum, making it ideal for power distribution and transmission lines across rivers, valleys, plains, and industrial zones. ACSR cables are widely used in urban grids, rural electrification, railway traction systems, and renewable energy projects due to their durability, corrosion resistance, and adaptability to varying environmental conditions.
Detailed Description
The product is used in the field of aerial power line.
Manufacturing standard: The standard as GB/T1179-2008 it is equal to IEC207-1966 and IEC209-1966.
Technical performance and related data:
Tensile strength should be not less than GB3955-2008 LY9 min tensile strength value of 95%.
The winding performance shall be in accordance with the provisions of LY9 in GB3955-2008.
The resistivity of 20℃ is not larger than 0.028264 mm2/m.
