Scholarships and Inspiration: Ruiyang Group Gives Back to Community

A donation ceremony for the "Ruiyang Scholarship" was jointly held by Ruiyang Group and Shenyang Institute of Engineering. Chairman of Ruiyang Group, Wang Liping, along with Deputy General Manager Xue Qingshou, General Manager Assistant Tao Jinrong, Board Secretary Lang Xunxun, and other company representatives, attended the event. They were joined by senior university officials including Fang Hongzhi, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the institute, Qin Jian, Director of Domestic Cooperation and Exchange, and Miao He, Deputy Director of the Student Affairs Office. Faculty and student representatives, including scholarship recipients, were also present to witness this meaningful occasion.

The event began with a welcome address from Deputy Secretary Fang Hongzhi, who expressed sincere gratitude for Ruiyang Group’s ongoing support for the institute’s educational mission. She encouraged the aided students to draw motivation from this act of generosity and to give back to society through hard work and genuine talent. Secretary Fang also highlighted the institute’s established tradition of serving the power industry and its recent achievements in talent development, technological innovation, and campus improvement.

In his address, Chairman Wang Liping shared movingly that Ruiyang Group is a locally grown and steadily expanding private enterprise in the power industry. He emphasized the company’s enduring commitment to giving back to the community and the local region. He stated that the scholarship donation reflects not only a sense of gratitude but also a tangible effort to support education. Drawing from both the company’s journey and his own experience, he offered students three insights: first, to cultivate sound daily habits and moral integrity, recognizing that small acts of kindness can build great character; second, to learn through reflection and strive to integrate knowledge across disciplines; and third, to remain determined and resilient, facing challenges with persistence and building meaningful careers through practical effort.

In the presence of all attendees, Ruiyang Group donated RMB 30,000 to establish the "Ruiyang Scholarship," aimed at supporting students who demonstrate both academic excellence and strong personal character. Director Qin Jian presented a cultural gift on behalf of the institute. A representative of the scholarship recipients expressed that the support is not only material but also deeply inspirational: “We thank Ruiyang Group for lighting the way forward. Inspired by their example, we will refine our character, pursue knowledge, and strive to give back to society in the future.”

The company has long been dedicated to supporting educational initiatives and has provided scholarships across multiple institutions over the years, benefiting nearly one hundred outstanding students.
