Bridging Campus and Career: Ruiyang Group & HUST Strengthen Ties Through Successful Internship Program

The internship for students from Harbin University of Science and Technology at Ruiyang Group came to a successful conclusion on July 3, 2025. The Internship Outcomes Report and Recognition Ceremony was held at Ruiyang Group Northeast Cable Co., Ltd, the subsidiary of Ruiyang Group. Company Director Xue Qingshou, Secretary of the Board of Directors Lang Xunxun, General Manager Assistant Yan Jipeng, and other leaders attended the event.

During their ten days at Ruiyang Group, the students gained immersive experience in transitioning from campus to the workplace. The company provided systematic theoretical learning on core technologies and cutting-edge knowledge in the cable industry. For hands-on practice, they learned the actual operations involved in cable production. The study tour took them to Fushun, where they reflected on the spirit of dedication at the Lei Feng Memorial Museum, explored the city’s historical context at the municipal museum, and visited the Fushun West Open-Pit Mine. These experiences offered firsthand insight into the evolution of the energy industry and the growing importance of environmental sustainability, deepening the students’ understanding of the role played by industrial cities in development as well as the significance of regional progress.

The ceremony began with presentations from the 14 interns, who shared the outcomes of their training. Drawing on practical experience in core areas such as technological R&D, production management, and quality inspection, they delivered detailed PowerPoint reports on projects completed, key skills acquired, and their most meaningful insights from the program. Their professional approach and practical achievements were highly commended by the management team.

In a subsequent sharing session, Ms. Lang gave a dynamic presentation on career planning. Drawing from her own experience and Ruiyang's talent development strategy, she provided an in-depth look at core workplace competencies and shared forward-looking advice and practical guidance for the students' future development.

The recognition segment brought the event to a high point. Award-winning students took to the stage to receive certificates and gifts presented by the company's leaders.

In his closing address, Mr. Xue spoke highly of the outstanding performance of the interns and the overall success of the program. He highlighted the students' learning agility, practical mindset, and professional dedication, noting how closely these qualities align with Ruiyang's corporate culture.
