Building a Foundation for Safety: Enhanced Awareness and Hazard Control

Northeast Plastic Power Cable Co., Ltd. organized a series of carefully planned activities centered on the theme of "Safety Awareness, Safe Actions." To ensure effectiveness, the company adopted multiple approaches and encouraged full participation from all employees, fostering a strong atmosphere of safety production.

To deepen the promotion of the safety month theme, the company distributed documents, displayed safety banners in prominent areas throughout the facility, and put up informational posters to systematically advance the dissemination of safety knowledge. These efforts aimed to strengthen employees’ sense of responsibility towards safety, translate their understanding of safety production into conscious actions, and integrate these practices into daily work routines, creating an environment where “everyone values safety and every task emphasizes safety.”

The company invited Ms. Jiang Qianying from the Liaoning Safety and Health Education Center to conduct specialized safety training. The session covered key areas of safety production such as work at heights, operations involving special equipment, electrical work, and hazard identification, as well as prevention and mitigation of occupational diseases. Through theoretical explanations, case studies, and interactive discussions, the training emphasized that safety is a core element of management, a foundation of production work, and a vital responsibility of every employee.

A hazard inspection team was formed under the leadership of Ren Dongdong, General Manager Assistant of Northeast Plastic Power Cable Co., Ltd, to conduct a comprehensive and meticulous examination of potential risks in the production workshops. The inspection strictly adhered to the principles of “full coverage, no blind spots, and emphasis on effectiveness,” focusing on issues such as aging wiring, unauthorized connections, and implementation of equipment operating procedures. A thorough, detail-oriented check was carried out to ensure all potential risks were addressed.
